Civil engineers are in charge of designing, planning and building any infrastructure a site might need. This includes everything from developing the site’s foundation, to supplying the necessary resources and skills needed to undertake construction.

To be a civil engineer is to play an important role in many of the constructions that are a part of our everyday lives. They plan, design, construct, operate and maintain infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams and transportation systems like buses.
